15 hundred arrested within 4 months for human traffiking, increasing rapidly

15 hundred migrants were arrested from the different points of Cox’s Bazaar last 4 months, were willing to migrate Malaysia illegally by waterway, according to law-enforcement source.
Petty Officer of Cox’s Bazaar Coast Guard Station Shahidur Rahman informed, the regular route of migrate to Malaysia are Taziakata, Najirtek, Moheshkhali and Sonadiachar though Bangladesh Border Guard and Police are alert on this issue and is ensuring routing patrol on those route to stop human traffiking.
Detective of Cox’s Bazaar Police, Officer In-charge (OC) AKM Manjurul Alam said they set informant in different points which already helped them to arrest a number of illegal migrants. Parbattanews also has a conversation with a victim named Nurul Azim of Saikatpara at Kalatali. He uttered, Bangladeshi human trafficker decoyed them in different ways and claimed a hansom amount for trafficking.
After collecting their money, trafficker trades them (Victim) to Malaysian traffickers. Although authority issued red alert repeatedly to stop human trafficking from coastal areas to Malaysia, people remain unaware so that human trafficking is still out of control.
Through this way, thousands of people are trying to migrate illegally by waterway for better life. And everyday some of them are arrested and locked in up. About the trafficking, Coast Guard stated that law enforcement force has successfully reduced human trafficking from the major areas due to their quick action though trafficker use new points.
