5 BGB solders wounded by smugglers at Cox’s Bazaar

Five BGB solders were wounded by smugglers’ attack at near Ukhiya-Ramu area on Saturday at 9:30 pm. Smugglers, Abu Taher and Abul Kalam from Sonapar, attacked with their team at BGB check post near Reju River mouth. Wounded were admitted at Cox’s Bazaar General Hospital.

Wounded are Abdul Barek (55), Sharif Ullah (45), Abu Daud (21), Rubel (22) and Shams Uddin (27). All are serving 17 BGB.
Lieutenant Colonel Saifur Alam Saif, commander of 17 BGB confirmed the news and said parbattanews.com, 17 BGB filed a case against 60 suspects including Abu taher and Abul kalam.
