‘Khagrachari Police’s SMG missing from Durga Puja spot on 4 October’ case finally comes to the light. Lance Corporal of Khagrachari police and Former Active Member of Shanti Bahini Lakshmi Kumar Chakma was involve with this incedent. However police super did not want to expose more about the case in favor of investigations.
Khagrachari Police Super added, from Lakshmi’s information they have arrested 8 more from different places who gave them significant information to find out the missing SMG. Police’s comb operation made fear and outlaws who were involved with this event hide the SMG into the pond. Police Super added, Matiranga Police and Guimara Police have arrested Prokash Beeten Tripura with 7.65 Bore Pistol at Khagrachari.
Source who was involved to dig the SMG from the pond said same as Police Super. Source said, there must have some change if a SMG drowned for 20 days into water. However, there has no significant change observed on the found SMG. Moreover, it seems the wrapped cloth of SMG was not drowned for 20 days rather a high possibility it would be drowned one to two days before.
