Ansar Nayek shot dead by fellow member in Dighinala:killer fled with arms and ammunition

Ansar Nayek Amir Hossain(50) was shot dead by his fellow Ansar member Mohammad Rafique(35) on Friday after noon at Dighinala Zone adjacent to Chowdhury Camp Hill. Amir Hossain received bullet hit at chest at died at the spot instantly and the accused Rafique fled with arms.

Locals said the deceased Nayek Amir Hossain’s village home is Islampur under the Upazilla Panchari in the Khagrachari district. His father is Razzab Ali and accused killer Rafique’s village home is Logangbazaar under the Logang Union Council, Upazila Panchari in the same district. His father’s name is Mongal Mia.

The Eyewitnesses inside the Ansar camp informed that all on a sudden they heard the sound of shooting and rushed the place of occurrence. Moreover, they found Amir Hossain was shot dead and Rafiq fled with nearly 90 round of bullets before their reaching the place

What is the reason to shooting is not ascertained instantly, the Dighinala police Officer- in – Charge Shahadat Hossain commented this acknowledging the incidence. Police force endeavors to seize him as early as possible, he added.
