Five victims arrested while they were trafficked to Malaysia: charge filed against two agents

Trafficking to Malaysia through seaway, five folks have arrested by BGB from Teknaf. Early morning on 23 August, solders leaded by BOP bench Habildar Aboni Kumar Bishwas raiding Abdus Salam’s house at Ghona of Sabrang Lapa. Solders were informed previously by informer. Suspects hiding in Abdus Salam’s house waiting to go by seaway to Malaysia.
Arrested are Delware Hossain (18) son of Motiur Rahman and Masum Mia (18) son of Liyakat Ali from Raypura, Norshindhi, Mustafa Kamal (20) son of Jakir Hossain from Adiyabad Purba para, Md. Naris Mia (18), father Md. Allam Mia from Kundar Para, Shaibpur, and Alman (25)-father Rahim Gazi from Purba bazaar of Munsigonj.
All were handed down to local police after rescuing them. Sue filed against unknowns including Abdus Salam- father Ula Mia, Mir Ahammad – father Thanda Mia (past) under the act of Prevention and Suppression of Human Trafficking 2012. Lieutenant Colonel Md. Abu Zar Al Zahid, Commander of BGB 42 Battalion infirmed the above. However, locale demanded keeping an eye on the issue to stop human trafficking.
