Patrol bomb and cocktail exploded at Ramgarh Auditorium, Awami League office, leaders house

Miscreants tried to torch Ramgarh Upazill Auditorium under the district of Khagrachari on Saturday night at 8.30 pm. They exploded 4 cocktails in three separate places in the township. The incident spread panic among township dwellers and they began to flee to and fro. In protest to this heinous act, activists of Awami League, Jubo League and Chattra League instantly brought out procession and paraded the streets of the township. They alleged that men in 20-party alliance carried out this attack. Police informed that the miscreants exploded cocktails on the road adjacent office of Awami League, in front of Jubo League president Abdul Kader’s residence and premises of local cinema hall bazaar.

Eye witnesses said miscreants try to torch the local upazilla auditorium and the sentries rushed the place and doused the fire at night 8.30 pm. Police failed to caught the miscreants as they fled making no late. Upazilla Nirbahi officer Iqbal  Hossain, Ramgarh Circle assistant police super Yunus Ali Mia and OC Jobaerul Hoque visited the place after the incident occurred. The Upazilla Nirbahi Officer said the miscreants did it for creating panic among the locals. Police patrolling has been increased for the whole township
