UPDF leader Sontosh Tripura arrested red handed at Matiranga Baliachari

Security forces arrested United People’s Democratic Front UPDF local leader and Deputy Collector Sontosh Tripura at Matiranga Bailachai area on Tuesday  morning at 10 am while he was collecting  levy from the people.

Security forces receiving secret news, reached the place and nabbed him in red handed. However the arrestee is the person who was directly involved in Deepa Tripura (18) gang rape incident and Abdul Hannan(24) abduction case.

Police was searching him to arrest for long but he was on absconding and continued to raise levy along with other criminal activities. Security forces later handed over him to the Guimara police administration. Police officer in charge Saiful Rahman said legal action will be taken against persons who are detained.
