Chief Adviser Yunus to receive King Charles Harmony Award in London

Chief Adviser of the interim government, Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus, is set to visit London on 10 June at the invitation of King Charles III.

During the visit, Dr Yunus will receive the King Charles Harmony Award at a ceremony hosted by the British royal family on 12 June. He is scheduled to return to Dhaka on 13 June.

Officials said Dr Yunus is also expected to meet King Charles and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer during the trip. Preparations for the visit are currently underway.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the agenda will include discussions on the recovery of laundered funds, trade and investment, development cooperation, the Rohingya crisis, and regional collaboration in South Asia.
