Hema Chakma elected DUCSU executive member

Hema Chakma from the Chittagong Hill Tracts has been elected an executive member of the Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU).
She contested the post from the Resistance Council panel, a coalition of left-leaning student organisations, and received 4,908 votes, according to the election results.
Hema hails from Khagrachhari.
Chief Returning Officer Professor Mohammad Jasim Uddin announced the results.
