After US base strike, Iran’s supreme leader says ‘we will not submit to anyone’s aggression’

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has declared that the country “will not submit to anyone’s aggression,” following Iran’s retaliatory strike on the United States’ al-Udeid air base in Qatar.
According to The Guardian, Khamenei made the remarks in a post on X (formerly Twitter), stating:
“We have not attacked anyone, and we absolutely do not accept anyone’s aggression, nor will we submit to anyone’s aggression; this is the logic of the Iranian nation.”
The statement comes amid heightened regional tensions following the escalation between Tehran and Washington.
