10 RE Battalion donates solar batteries to primary school in Rangamati

The 10 RE Battalion, under the Rangamati Army Region, has donated solar batteries to the Balukhali Bottala Primary School.

Following the direction of the Army Chief, Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Sohel PSC, commander of the 10 RE Battalion, oversaw the donation on Friday morning.

Captain Richard Mondal, commander of the Gobagona Army Camp, presented two solar batteries to the school’s committee president and head teacher to aid in the school’s electrification.

“We are committed to promoting peace, harmony, and development in the Chittagong Hill Tracts,” said Captain Mondal. “The Bangladesh Army will continue to support underprivileged communities in the future.”
