‘Indigenous demand’ part of anti-Bangladesh plot: PCCP

That ethnic minorities demand they be recognised as ‘indigenous’ is part of a conspiracy against Bangladesh, the Rangamati unit of the Parbatya Chattogram Chhatra Parishad (PCCP) alleged on Tuesday.

In a memorandum submitted to the Chief Adviser through the deputy commissioner, the PCCP called for those using the term ‘indigenous’ to describe ethnic minorities to be prosecuted.

PCCP Rangamati Acting President Alamgir Hossain and General Secretary Khalilur Rahman, among others, were present during the submission.
