The Bangladesh Army’s 24th Infantry Division brought warmth to hundreds in Rangamati’s Dighinala Upazila on Friday, December 8th, by distributing winter clothes to more than 400 underprivileged residents.
The initiative was spearheaded by the “Formation Ad Hoc Recruit Training Center,” with Lieutenant Colonel SM Mahfuz Mannan Sumon, PSC, the Chief Instructor, highlighting the Army’s commitment to serving the nation beyond its primary duties.
“While we strive for professional excellence through rigorous training, every member of the Bangladesh Army is always dedicated to serving the motherland,” he stated. “Everyone works for the betterment of our nation, and that is the core objective of the Bangladesh Army.”
Continuing the tradition of previous years, the Formation Ad Hoc Recruit Training Center organised winter clothing distribution in Hutchinsonpur, Muslim Para, Islampur, Tarabuniya, and Dakshin Milonpur villages, reaching out to over 400 individuals in need.
Adjutant Captain M. A. Momen Shihab was also present during the distribution, witnessing the positive impact of the initiative on the community.
