Army doles out winter aid in Dighinala
DIGHINALA CORRESPONDENT
Bangladesh Army’s 24th Infantry Division oversaw a winter clothing distribution in Khagrachhari’s Dighinala upazila.
The event, organized by the Formation Adhoc Recruit Training Center, took place on Wednesday (January 17) at the Pomangpara Government Primary School.
More than 500 people from Thanapara, Chappapara, Pomangpara, Kumillatila and Bouddhapara villages received blankets, sweaters, jackets, and shawls.
Lieutenant Colonel S M Mahfuz Mannan Suman, PSC, chief instructor at the Training Center, inaugurated the event.
Major Abdullah Al Mahin, Captain Abdullah Al Mafi, Captain Durlabh Kumar Ray, Captain Fardin Afzal, and Boalkhali UP Chairman Chayan Bikash Chakma, among others, were present.
