KNA terrorist killed in Bangladesh Army operation

A member of the Kuki Chin National Army (KNA), the armed wing of Kuki-Chin National Front (KNF), has been killed during a Bangladesh Army operation in the Ruma upazila of Bandarban district.

The army also recovered weapons, ammunition, and other equipment from the scene of the operation, which took place in the remote Moonlai Para area on Monday (April 22).

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed the incident but did not disclose the identity of the deceased.

The KNF recently carried out attacks in Bandarban.

On April 2nd, they robbed a bank, kidnapped a manager, attacked a mosque, and stole police weapons.

They robbed more banks on April 3rd.

The incidents triggered a large-scale army operation in the Bandarban region.
