Rohingya teacher abducted, shot dead in Cox’s Bazar camp

A 28-year-old Rohingya teacher, Md. Faisal, was abducted and shot dead in Cox’s Bazar’s Ukhiya.
The incident occurred in the Kutupalong Rohingya Camp-4 on the night of January 4th.
Faisal, son of Md. Rafique from the same camp, was forcibly taken from his home by unknown assailants and later found shot dead in a different block of the camp.
Md. Shamim Hossain, the Officer-in-Charge of Ukhiya Police Station, confirmed that the body was discovered following a search. The police have initiated an investigation into the kidnapping and murder.
Faisal’s body has been sent to Cox’s Bazar District Hospital for an autopsy.
