Army stands by underprivileged families in Rangamati

The Bangladesh Army extended special assistance to helpless and underprivileged families in Rangamati on Wednesday.

Region Commander Brigadier General Sohel Ahmed, who attended the event as the chief guest, distributed the aid at the Rangamati Region Office.

During the distribution, he emphasized the Bangladesh Army’s commitment to working together with all communities, regardless of race, caste, or religion, to advance the nation.

Mr Ahmed also assured that the army would always be there for the people in times of need.

The assistance package included 4 sewing machines, 5 bundles of corrugated sheets for house repairs, 3 ceiling fans for a madrasa, and a total of Tk 126,000 in financial aid, including Tk 70,000 for medical assistance for underprivileged individuals.

Major Tajdik Bin Nazrul and other army members were also present at the event.
