Fire at Rohingya camp in Teknaf

A fire broke out at the registered Rohingya camp in Nayapara, Teknaf, Cox’s Bazar on Thursday night.
The fire erupted in a shed in Block P of the camp around 10:00pm.
Local and volunteer firefighters at the camp managed to bring the fire under control, according to local fire service officials.
Uttam Banerjee, an official at the Teknaf Fire Service and Civil Defense Station, stated that the fire had been brought under control. Fire service personnel worked alongside camp volunteers at the scene.
However, the extent of the damage from the fire is not yet known.
