International Children Film Festival begins in Rajshahi
Rajshahi, March 20 – A two-day International Children Film Festival began in Rajshahi on Sunday with the theme of ‘Frame Frame Agamir Swapna’.
Initiated by Children Film Society Bangladesh, the 15th festival is being held at Shilpakala Academy auditorium.
Panel Mayor of Rajshahi City Corporation Shariful Islam Babu and Additional Deputy Commissioner Joya Maria Perera addressed the opening ceremony as the chief and special guests respectively.
Cultural personalities Dr FMA Zahid, Dilip Kumar Ghosh, Hassan Protik Ahsan Kabir Liton and Shahriar Al Mamun were present on the occasion.
In the festival, a total of four films written and documentaries on children are being screened daily and the events remain open for all, including guardians and children.
Dr Zahid said around 126 films from 38 countries, including the host Bangladesh, were selected for exhibiting in the festival.
