Khagrachari Region gifts computers to aid modern education for Marmas

Khagrachari Region has provided computers, printers, and other materials as gifts to help build a modern education system for the marginalised Marma community in Bangladesh.

Brigadier General Golam Mohiuddin Ahmed, the commander of Khagrachari Region, extended educational aid to Bangladesh Marma Chhatra Oikya Parishad on Thursday, April 13.

Also present during the event were BM Major Md Imroz Munir and Staff Officer Major Md Zahid Hasan from Khagrachari Region.

The region commander stated that program to uplift the Marma community also includes providing books to 79 neighborhood-based libraries and libraries dedicated to them, which is currently underway.
