Rangamati Virtual Electoral Meet: PM assures continued development in hills

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, also the president of the Awami League, affirmed in a recent statement that the progress achieved in the hill regions, a direct result of the peace agreement, will be sustained.

On the afternoon of Saturday, 23rd December, she engaged with the Rangamati community in a virtual electoral public meeting, conducted from the Awami League’s central office.

In this session, the prime minister passionately appealed to the citizens of Rangamati to support the boat symbol, representing the Awami League, in the upcoming twelfth parliamentary elections scheduled for 7th January.

Residents of Rangamati had the opportunity to virtually interact with the prime minister from the Sheikh Russel Mini Stadium.

Deepankar Talukdar, the Rangamati District Awami League President and candidate for the 299th electoral seat; General Secretary Haji Musa Matbar; and District Council Chairman Angsui Pru Choudhury, among others, were present at the time.
