UPDF terrorist arrested with weapons in Rangamati special operation

In a successful operation, Rangamati Army Region apprehended a member of the UPDF (Main) armed group in the Shukurchari area of Sublong Union, Rangamati district.
During the operation, they recovered a cache of weapons, including an HK-33 (German) rifle, a magazine, and 22 rounds of ammunition.
The operation, conducted on Wednesday (July 26) at 4 pm, was based on intelligence inputs received by the authorities.

Although all but Tarit Chakma (35) managed to escape, and he surrendered to the army, along with the confiscated HK-33 rifle, magazine, and ammunition.
