Army provides free medical services to impoverished families in Bandarban

The Bangladesh Army has provided free medical services to impoverished families and those who were displaced by the violence of the Kuki Chin National Front last year and have since returned to the border areas of Ruma and Thanchi upazilas in Bandarban.

The medical camp was held on Friday at 11 AM by the Balkalipara Army Camp, under the jurisdiction of the Alikadam Zone.

Captain Md. Salman Mehdi Ankan, the Resident Medical Officer (RMO) of the 16th East Bengal Regiment, administered the medical services.

A total of 50 ill individuals, including 18 men, 20 women, and 12 children, received medical services and free medicines during the camp.
