Army provides free medical services in Panchari

The Bangladesh Army provided free medical services to over 300 underprivileged and needy individuals in Panchari Upazila, Khagrachari, on Monday.

The services were offered from 9 AM in the Nabinchand Para area, organized by the Khagrachari Sadar Army Zone under the supervision of the Khagrachari Region.

Nearly 300 impoverished and sick individuals from various communities received free medical care and medicines.

Lt. Col. Abul Hasnat, commander of the Khagrachari Sadar Army Zone, attended the event and checked on the patients.

He stated that the Bangladesh Army is committed to maintaining peace, harmony, and development in the region, and such initiatives will continue.

Beneficiaries like Sijibi Chakma, Bhagyamoni Chakma, and Sinuuti Chakma expressed their gratitude to the army.

Medical professionals involved in the service were Dr Major Siam Zulfiqar from Khagrachari Region Five Field Ambulance, Captain Ridwan Uddin Ahmed from 30 BIR Khagrachari Zone, Captain Tasnia Shafiq, and Dr Bidarshi Chakma from Panchari Health Complex.
