Head majhi among two killed in Cox’s Bazar; three held

The Armed Police Battalion, or APBn, have arrested three people in connection with the killing of two Rohingya people, including head majhi, at Thaingkhali Jamtoli No. 15 Rohingya camp in Ukhia of Cox’s Bazar.

They were arrested in a raid at Jamtali camp in the early hours of Thursday (August 11), according to APBn-8 sources.

The arrestees were identified as Sah Miah, 32, son of Sona Mia, a resident of Jamtali FDMN Camp-15, Block-C/1, Md. Shoaib,19, son of Zafar Alam and Md Zafar Alam, 54, son of Rashid Ahmed of Block-C/6 of the same camp.

Earlier on Tuesday noon, terrorists fired at two Rohingya people, including head majhi, leaving them critically injured. They died later in hospital.
